On the drive to work, the radio was playing a song off of the School of Rock movie, so I decided to do a blog about the movies that I used to watch over and over again until I could already somehow memorize the lines before the characters could say them.
1. The Little Rascals

I grew up watching The Little Rascals, and learned a lot of my new words from that movie. I loved every little character in that movie, and even took a hand at directing a skit based on the movie back in Grade 2. I loved Waldo's glasses and Darla's tutu! I adored Spanky and the He-Man Woman Hater's Club!hahaha
Luveeettttt... :D
2. The Sound of Music Back when there were no DVD's, our Sound of Music VHS started to get scratchy from all the times we would rewind, fast forward, pause and play the movie.
I remember how I used to think that the end of the movie was when the Von Trapp children started going up the stairs singing "So Long, farewell" to the guests. That was because my dad usually stopped the tape at that part and told us that it was time for bed. It wasn't until later on that I found out that there was actually a continuation to the story after that goodnight song. It was LATER still when I found out the meaning behind all the running away to the mountains based on Austrian history. Back then, it was all song and doe a dee-ah to me ^^
3. Ever After
The very fist Cinderella story...after the original Disney cartoon. I love love love Drew Barrymore movies, and I must say this is one of her very best. There was a time when Star Movies played this movie for a week, and I would sit on the couch with my Green Pringles at my side, and wait for it to air again!
"A bird may love a fish signore, but where would they live?
Then I shall just ave to build you wings!" Awwww...
Cameo role by Leonardo da Vinci!hahaha :D
4. The School of Rock
The PRIME reason for the existence of this post. At the time when my brother and I were at that stage when we quarreled over anything (TV, food, etc), this was a movie which we could both watch while peacefully coexisting. We watched it almost everyday for an entire summer's duration, and even ended up buying 2 DVD's of the movie!5. The Phantom of the Opera
This is the ONE movie where I love all the songs in it. For this movie, I don't bother skipping scenes to get to my favorite part. I love even the insignificant parts of the movie! In this movie, I honestly believe that they gt everyone in the cast right!Till the next bout of boredom! :)
