Lonely Wanderer (Late Post)

This is a late post as I have just recently been able to open my blog, let alone update. Work has been really hectic the past few months, but that's getting a different post altogether ;-)

In the middle of the crazy schedule I've been having, I had to go out and represent the Hotel in a bridal fair in Singapore, as well as make a few sales calls to make the trip worthwhile. I didn't really mind, as it meant I'd get to see my sister after all the work for the day.

So this is to Singapore the second time this year.

So here's my airport pick-up. We didn't really plan the attire, this just somehow always seems to happen to us. #sisters

I had a late flight, but apparently my pickup crew wanted to have a late dinner with me, so I checked in, and we ate at a nearby mall.

The Bridal Fair was the following day, and although I've done this before, I have never done ingress alone. I really did not expect it to be this difficult, especially because I had to lug around this very big and very HEAVY suitcase with all the stuff for the bridal fair.

CHALLENGE NO. 1: THE SG BRIDAL CARAVAN CHALLENGE...ALONE!

I was with my friend Stanz, a fellow Cebuano supplier, in case you are all wondering who's taking my pictures :D

The Bridal Fair in itself was a success, and we somehow made it through the tiring day with smiles still plastered on our faces. It was fun to have met new friends from the Pen, and new friends across sister properties who were also representing their own Shangri-La's.

Afterwards, Stanz and I rewarded ourselves with a true Singaporean street food treat. And coffee and drinks and The Fullerton right after :)

After a hurried checkout the following day, I was supposed to transfer to another hotel which was more in the center of the city, so I wouldn't have too much trouble commuting. I didn't have time however, as I was already in a hurry for my first appointment of the day. After a quick breakfast, Challenge Number 2 has officially started.

CHALLENGE NO. 2: THE SG TWO-DAY SALES TRIP...ALONE AGAIN!

I love love LOVE the convenience of Singapore. I don't think I could have survived had it been another city/town/province/country :D

Sales calls definitely made more easier by SGMaps :)
Everything was frenzied, and schedule was so tight, but I managed to squeeze in seeing my sister after everything I had to do for the day was accomplished. I even saw her in between and she managed to snap pictures of me trying to look for my next appointment, all the while laughing and sending the pictures to my family back home in Cebu, so someone could share the fun she was having.

It was when I saw this photo that made me dye my hair black again 0_0 #Carrot

Throughout the challenging week, with unattractive moments I'm glad no one was able to document, here's to the things in Singapore I will always look forward to - Shopping, Food and my Sister and Ian  :)
