Everyone who knows me know that I'm not that into loud music, smoky bars, crowded dancefloors and flashing lights. I'm more the coffeeshop, frozen yogurts, roadtrips, movie marathons and sleepovers type :)
I have nothing against the people who enjoy the former, I just prefer activities related to the latter. Hey, everyone's entitled to their own unique way of how they want to enjoy their time! :) With this said, I would just like to share this longtime laag I have in my mind. Every time the group is at a loss as to what we are to do during laag days, I have always wanted to suggest this, but usually bite back my tongue because not everyone might want to do it... and weirdly because I've pictured it so long in my head that I'm scared the activity becomes a flop and the "charness"(for lack of a better word to describe it) as how I imagined it may never be the same again (haha! im so weird).
It's like this:
We start out at morning, say 5AM, and head to the nearest McDonalds. We order by drive thru for everyone! We'd buy extra fries of course, since they're a favorite...and won't forget to ask for additional salt; We'd buy coke float even if it's too early in the morning, and it might upset our stomachs; Coffee is also a must-have beverage, so let's hope the car has built-in cupholders.
To whoever the driver of this fantasy adventure may be:
Don't worry! I'll hold your coffee cup for you and save you fries! hahaha :D
We'll go somewhere far...the beach perhaps or a highland? :)
But it's so far that we have to stop for lunch at this tiny mall that none of us have ever set foot in. It has a grocery where we stock up on chips, nuts and sodas...and then prepare to hit the road once more! We arrive at our destination sometime between 2:30 to 3 in the afternoon. Of course we've already driven thru this Starbucks that wasn't suppose to exists this far away from the city (but it's my fantasy, so lay off!haha).
We spend the day at our lovely destination chatting it up over our Starbucks drinks, playing card games with ridiculous punishments, recalling funny stories, taking pictures, and basically just having fun!
At around 5PM we head out of the area and go straight to a fancy eat-all-you can buffet in the city. We have the best dinner money can buy, but feast more eagerly at the yummy desserts! We again have late night coffee, complimentary of the aforementioned buffet, and spend at least another 3-4 hours talking and having fun.
By 10:30PM, we start sending everyone home. Take note that we are all in one car and we have to send everyone who attended this trip home one by one. I'll beg the driver to adjust the route so I'll be the last one home..and so can enjoy seeing everyone else sent off.
When I get home at around 12:30AM, I log on to Facebook and see myself tagged in all the lovely photos that brings back all the wonderful memories of the day that just passed :)
When would all this happen? I guess when I'll be able to find a willing driver game enough for this trip!hahaha :D
Roadtrip anyone? :)
...because I've got my head in the clouds, my hand in my pocket, my toes on the sand, my finger on my lips. My mind in faraway places, and my heart on my sleeve.

MY 10 things...
I got tagged in another Facebook note that challenged everyone else tagged to write down their own "10 things" they wanted to accomplish before they died.
You can actually write down even things you may feel are impossible, so a number of my friends have written down extreme sports they wanted to experience, or places they wanted to go to. But here are the things I REALLY want to get done before I pass away:
1. Be able to travel to all the cool destinations of Asia and Europe.
Don't get me wrong, I would also love to venture to the other countries as well. But there's just something about the richness of the culture of these two continents :)
2. Find all my lost friends since kindergarten.
While I've still been able to keep in touch with most of the people I went to kindergarten/summer school/summer job with, I've almost managed to lose touch with quite a number. Hopefully they'll still be able to remember me, and I can catch up with them on the good old days :)
3. Be able to take a really good landscape photo.
I really do envy the people who can take such shots effortlessly. Just allow me one GREAT photo, and I'll die happy :D
4. Cook a 5-course meal for my family and friends.
...and a good one at that! All the people close to me know that I have minimal talent in the kitchen, so wouldn't it be great to serve them this yummy treat and shut them up?hahahaha :D
5. Watch Lea Salonga in concert.
I've had a series of failed attempts on this. But during Lea Salonga concerts that I set my mind to going to, something else comes up. A birthday party, the trip to Indonesia, misunderstanding with friends, lack of funds, etc!hahaha :))
6. Own a Louis Vuitton tote handbag.
I am entitled to one materialistic WANT before I die!hahahah :))
7. Drive around a racetrack in a red racecar!
I just think it's really cool!!!hahaha :D
8. Get married.
...and stay married, with a person I can confide and enjoy precious moments with :)
9. Re-play Japanese, patintero, jackstone, tubig-tubig, chinese garter, luksong tinik, and all the other games I used to enjoy playing back then.
10. Compose a great song, that touches a lot of people.
Now wouldn't that be great? It has happened a lot of times when I would get so attached to a song and wish that I were the one who had written it. That said, I'm attaching this to my wishlist :)
