When System is Down

At work, we are highly reliant on a lot of our software to generate a lot of relevant information and reports that comprise our administrative tasks.

There are times though when IT has to conduct scheduled downtimes for preventive maintenance, and to ensure all systems are updated.

So what happens in this busy office when we have to wait for it to go up?

One of my childhood friends, Jeselle, who has long migrated to LA - visited the Philippines for a week!

...super late post, I know. I just can't get over the fact yet that I can blog from my phone, and so I'm posting long overdue events from the past 2 months :)

Something new

I just recently downloaded the blogger for iphone app.

Trying it out for the first time now!

Last Thursday, we were treated by one of my favorite event organizers with an all-expense paid massage at this new posh spa near the resort.

She pre-paid 5 slots, so off we went around 7:30 that evening- with every intention of going back to the office after the treatment (since it was a Thursday, and workload was tooo heavy to leave for Friday).

What is a hot stone massage?
A hot stone massage is a specialty massage where the therapist uses smooth, heated stones, either as an extension of their own hands, or by placing them on the body while they massage other parts of the body. The heat can be both deeply relaxing and help warm up tight muscles so the therapist can work more deeply, more quickly.

The spa where we went to offered welcome drinks upon arrival, a foot massage to prep you up, complimentary tea right after the stone massage - and even a guest shuttle to take you to your next destination!

Will definitely be wanting to try the other treatments soon too :)
