Singapore Once More

After Hongkong, Singapore is my preferred country if I want to go on a mini and quick getaway. Aside from its convenience and the diverse shops and cuisine they have to offer, it happens to also be where my sister and her husband are currently based. Yet another reason to love Singapore!

Because we miss our big (little) sister, my brother and I booked a weekend trip to visit her. It was a spur of the moment ticket purchase, so we really weren't able to set aside a budget for the trip. Since we've both been to SG before, we decided to just enjoy (minus shopping and spending). Just goes to show that you can always have a great time, even when eating at Hawker's, indulging in 1-dollar street ice creams, watching free light shows by the Marina Bay boardwalk, and staying home for the afternoon - as long as you're with the people you love :)

One of my frustrations on my first trip to Singapore was that I never had a chance to have my picture taken with the Merlion. To our disappointment after going up, down and around the Esplanade, the Merlion was apparently under repair. So we had to settle for a picture with the little Merlion on the side instead.

I finally had the chance to get my coveted picture with the real Merlion, and posted it here to brag :D And while posting, I realized I had a lot of other shots that were similar, and extremely funny to look back to.
