New Friend

Last week, we met a Korean who was visiting here in the Philippines. He had already graduated with a degree in Computer Engineering and had served in the military for quite some time. He was a friend of my friend and was introduced to us as he was staying in Cebu for two days.
At lunch in Jollibee, we got to know him a little more! :)

WINTERS! (or WonChoeLee in Korean...)

-Who loves to have his picture taken "naturally"... I think what he really means is that he wants "candid" shots as he dislikes choreographed ones, but his English is not so good so we had to settle for his "NATURALLY" posing preferences.hehehe :D

- Who refuses to disclose his real age, thinking we might find him to be too old to hang out with. :D

- Who was almost conned by a taxi driver to pay a taxi fare of PhP300.00 on a taxi trip from Ayala to IT Park.

- Who I asked about the Korean movie "Sassy Girl" which he says is not familiar. Who after a long racking of his brain suddenly exclaims: "The title is... Sexy Girl ?!"

Oh my, what must he have thought of me.HAHAHAHA :D

- Who got my ketchup without asking!hehehe

-Who I asked to talk about the scenery in Korea. When asked about the beaches, he said that the water was not as nice as the beach waters here in Cebu.

Lea: Why? Are they dirty?
Winters: (with a lot of gestures and head movements) No, no, no..not dirty..ahhhhh....
Lea: Murky?
Winters: What is murky?
Lea: Err.. not clear?
Winters: (Looking exasperated) Ahhhh...uhhhh.. shhhh....uhhhh... (smiles) Yes dirty.

HAHAHAHA! :D

-Who after a whole lunch hour of conversation, reduced our English into simple, one-worded sentences with no articles. :D

- Who wrote super nice things about us on his blog. Awwwww :)

Let's hope we see him again soon! :)
